This prenatal training will offer in depth knowledge of all the aspects of pregnancy and childbirth as it relates to the practice of yoga. You’ll learn to teach with intelligence and confidence to women of all levels of yoga experience and in all stages of pregnancy. You’ll understand the ins and outs of designing classes that make women feel better during their pregnancy and support them through the myriad of emotional and physiological changes they experience throughout their pregnancy. In addition to the classroom hours, each student will be asked to observe 2 prenatal classes and create 2 prenatal sequences.
This is a great workshop to complement your 200 hour teacher training and grow your confidence with this special group of expectant mothers. This training also qualifies for 20 Yoga Alliance continued education hours. If you don’t currently have a 200 hour yoga certification, but would like to join the training, please contact Katie or Amy directly to discuss this option. This workshop includes a comprehensive manual to enhance your learning and a certificate will be received upon completion of the course.
